BJMckay
I previously had a raid array, and now installing fresh on one of these drives. I have changed the the configuration from RAID back to IDE in the bios, but the installer is not finding the drive, yet i can see the drive in the bios on sata port 1.I know i had to load drivers for sata-raid, but surely not for one disk? Tripredacus
The drive itself may still be set to RAID. You haven't posted a lot of information about your previous RAID configuration, such as type or controller. If you do not need the data on the drive, you can write zeroes to it, although a low-level format may be able to remove the RAID flag as well. Sending to Drives forum for more insight.
