TBurrfootsIre Posted March 5, 2011 Share Posted March 5, 2011 Not sure why you want to know how to do it that way and can't tell you how to do it.However, you can have Windows Update ignore one by the following method:After Windows Update checks for updates just go to the one you don't want to install and expand it. Then check the 'Ignore' box. From then on whenever you check for updates again it won't show up in update list.NOTE: To re-enable an update later. click on the "show hidden updates" option in the left menu of Windows Update page.
