FthrJACK
comparable? ha! by the sound of it it will blow that openGL card out of the water. 256mb DDR .... thats a huuuuuge amount of ram for a GPU!! id love to see one working
Snoop
the ATI FIRE GL 8800 is a workstation card not the R250 that will replace the R200 (8500) thats why it is expensive as hell..the new matorx card is a proper gaming card and not deisgned for workstations so it should only cost around as much as a GF4TI 4600 did when they were 1st released. not all the matrox cards will be fitted with 256mb of ram there will be 64mb & 128mb versions of the card aswell.. Jay_Stealth
still think ill get a radeon 8800 in a couple of months tho when my pc build is complete ;D as it is visually better than the Ti4600 although the Ti4600 offers ludicres fps. The 8800 is what im gonna get heh.
