halaxa
Hi. I work as a member of the Power User group on my W7 machine - user "filip". As I sometimes need to do something as an administrator I made myself a shortcut on desktop:runas /user:administrator cmdWhen I run it and type the password, correct Administrator's command line appears. In the tasklist it says it was run by Administrator. But any command I run from it (explorer, control appwiz.cpl, etc...) doesn't inherit the right privileges. Instead it's started as a process of filip. That worked perfectly on XP. Where is the catch in 7? I use Professional edition. Thanks in advance,Filip Edited October 16, 2010 by halaxa
