Vista Can't Find Drivers

Recommended Posts

I must have changed something unknowingly...but now my unattended Vista install does not find the drivers on my network share. But if I try to install them manually they work just fine.

The drivers are hosted in \\image-server\drivers\VISTA32\laptop

This folder has subfolders like 001_chipset and 002_audio, which themselves have subfolders containing the different driver files.

Not really sure if I'm missing something. any input helps.

As an update, I've tried being more detailed in the path I give in autounattend.xml, this hasnt made any difference.

I know in the XP unattended I had issues with the network being able to connect in time and computer naming in order to install drivers over the network. Is there a similar thing I could do for Vista?
