bdjfreestyle Posted October 5, 2010 Share Posted October 5, 2010 i tried a lot to share my disk drives with my home group but when i try to access them in the other computer, it says \\d: access denied. contact your network operator. i've connected my 2 computers with an ethernet cable. pankaj Posted October 12, 2010 Share Posted October 12, 2010 (edited) Hi bdjfreestyle, "Homegroup" is a new feature in Windows 7 which allows to share files and printers on a home network quickly and easily.. You can try the following if you wana share out the drive..... right click and choose share with and then advanced sharing and select advanced tab and check on share this folder follow by apply and atlast ok....
