myselfidem
Hello!Put the WPI folder inside the location where you have Windows XP (example: C:\CDXP)(at the root of your folder)!Put RunWPI.exe inside $OEM$.And write at the end inside "cmdlines.txt": RunWPI.exeIt will be not copied on your harddrive!As example:[Commands]"rundll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection nLite.inf,U""hidecon.exe /w SpyMS.cmd""hidecon.exe /w COMDTC.cmd""hidecon.exe /w IEE1394.cmd""hidecon.exe /w SystrayNet.cmd""hidecon.exe /w Apps.bat""regedit /s ComputerName.reg""Windows.exe""hidecon.exe /w install.bat""regedit /s Office.reg""regedit /s c:\hp\bin\CmdCons.reg""regedit /s tweaks.reg""regedit /s Attributs.reg""regedit /s NT.reg""regedit /s HPDMI.reg""regedit /s HPD.reg""regedit /s Theme.reg""regedit /s Services.reg""hidecon.exe /w PCtype.bat""hidecon.exe /w Makedisk.bat""hidecon.exe /w i386.bat""hidecon.exe /w support.bat""hidecon.exe /w valueadd.bat""hidecon.exe /w PF.CMD""regedit /s c:\hp\bin\pwrmgt.reg""regedit /s c:\hp\bin\usbpower.reg""regedit /s sroff.reg""regedit /s c:\hp\bin\NoStartupSound.reg""regedit /s c:\hp\bin\winlogon.reg""hidecon.exe /w c:\hp\hpdirfix\FixErr1714.exe""regedit /s c:\hp\hpdirfix\HPDir.reg""rundll32 c:\hp\bin\hpqca.dll,RDLLCreateUser""rundll32 syncui.dll,Briefcase_Create""RunWPI.exe"When you download the folders WPI and $OEM$, all is made and you just have to put the "cmdlines.txt" already write and RunWPI.exe inside $OEM$.Regards Edited September 6, 2010 by myselfidem
nanitoboy
Hi myselfidem. Thanks for your help! The way you describe I already tried but didn`t work maybe because I added some entries to the file Winnt.sifI added:[COMMANDS]RunWPI.exe[GuiRunOnce]%systemdrive%\WPI\WPI.htaThis time I`m going to try it without adding the entries to Winnt.sifWith Regards. myselfidem
Hello myselfidem!! thanks for your support.Ok, I attach my file of WPI.Any help will be appreciated. Thanks again. With RegardsThanks!1) Don't add spaces inside the name of your folders:"CodecPacks y reproductores"!;"Windows Installer 3.1",etc.2) Check the order: the order isn't good: missing:2 and 3!3) You can't install "Office 2003" with "Office 2007". You will get errors!4) You can rename the files, with short names (example): "Combined-Community-Codec-Pack-2009-09-09.exe" like this:"CCCP.exe"4) Install "Kaspersky Antivirus" at lastYou can see sample config here:Sample config WPII hope that will help you!Asta la vista

myselfidem
Hello!Don't worry nanitoboy about your English, mine isn't so good!If you need to activate the buttons, you must open the script:"useroptions.js" and write:trueShowToolTips=true;ShowExtraButtons=true;DoNotShowIfCD=true; (maybe for your version the text is different!)---------------------------------------You must set your folders like this:CDXP (example:name of the folder where is located your Windows XP)inside:$OEM$DOCS SETUP.EXEI386SUPPORTVALUEADDWPISETUP.EXEBOOTFONT.BINcmpnentsAUTORUN.INFWIN51WIN51IPWIN51IP.SP2WIN51IP.SP3And inside $OEM$Set "cmdlines.txt" and "RunWPI.exe"------------------------------------------Applications needs .NET Frameworks installed first!Sometimes .NET Framework 1.1 is also riquiered! To do an silent install for the .NET Frameworks you can find some help here:Silent NET MakerI've tried many time and works fine!-------------------------------------------Maybe the problem is you are using WPI 6.5.1 with WPI Scripts for another version!? Check! The order is important and figure follow, it's better (1,2,3,4,5,6,etc.)!Maybe you can use the release WPI 8.1.0, but read the description for Windows XP for correct install!Regards Edited September 6, 2010 by myselfidem

Kelsenellenelvian
OK Couple of things:#1 RunWPI.exe does NOT work with the hta file anymore. (AS you have found out)#2 WPI has gone through HUNDREDS of changes since the version you are using.#3 I would really prefer if you updated and used the newer version.#4 Please attach your Current config.js file and I will bring it to current standards for you.#5 If your a seriously wanting to stick with the older version I will give you a run solution.EDIT = Found your config from an earlier post! I have updated it for your uses.. Edited September 8, 2010 by Kelsenellenelvian
