MDT Windows 7 Deployment Error with Custom WIM Image

Hello,

Please let me know if there is a more appropriate forum for this post.

I’m using using MDT 2010 as an imaging solution. With a particular custom WIM image the deployment fails just after the operating system installation phase begins. This occurs on all hardware and other images deploy to the same machine without a problem.

In the GUI….

Running action: Onstall Operating System

And then the failure…..

Operating System did not complete successfully

ZTI ERROR – Unhandled error returned by LTIApply: Object required [424]

Litetouch deployment failed. Return Code = 2147467259 0x80004005

I’d appreciate it if you would look at the logs below and make any suggestions.

These are the sections of the BDD and SMTS logs that have errors, please let me know if I should include more of the logs or the logs in entirety

In the BDD.log file the error (in bold) occurs right after Setup.exe is executed.

When you say custom image, what was custom about it, and did you add any drivers to the image? Usually I see this when an x86 driver is added to an x64 image (or vice-versa), but there can be other reasons.
