Screensaver problem

I'm having a problem with the Mystify screensaver in Vista. Seemingly 'all of a sudden', the lines are fading but staying on the screen. I've tried fiddling with the registry settings (like Blur) but they don't make a difference. Does anyone else see this problem? Vista SP1, ATI Radeon HD 4850, Driver 10.3. A screenshot is attached.
