VideoRipper Posted May 12, 2010 Share Posted May 12, 2010 (edited) Jaclaz has a point there...In the past I got that same message when trying to back up an externallyconnected harddisk (over USB) to an internal drive (over SATA), I evendouble checked whether "Delayed write" was turned off for USB-devices. Copying the data went well for about 20 minutes, after which that errorcame up...In the end I just connected the external drive directly to a free SATA-portand copied the data without any problems (it also was a lot faster too) (...and yes: the drive I tried to backup was that dreadful Seagate 7200.11 one) Greetz,Peter.
