slipstream updates, delete ei.cfg and install any version?

Recommended Posts

i have tryied many many times to slipstream all updates of windows7 on a dvd...and made this dream possible:

  1. Slipstream updates
  2. Delete ei.cfg to enable the window to select which version i want to install
  3. Reboot and select some version of windows7 to install
  4. Check the version i have installed and have all the updates i have slipstream

how can i do that?

at the moment, i have tryied the first 3 points...but the problem i have is, if i slipstream updates for home edition, when i try to install ultimate edition it shows i havent slipstream any updates =(

why?? :}

First delete ei.cfg then slipstream using DISM /add-package /packagepath command to a mounted edition of 7..

Or simply use 7Customizer or any other app available.

Your problem is that you only slipstream to ONE edition obviously not all of them at once.

If you want updates for ultimate then you have to slipstream for ultimate, thats pretty obvious m8.
