Hi wimb,

there is a small problem with SidebySide components on x64 SP1 sources.

The reg file PE3-SOFTWARE_SxS.reg is only compatible with SP0 sources.

The SP1 version will not be compatible with SP0 again, so MakePE3 would need to make a check for service pack and apply the right one.

Just to keep you informed, you have at least one satisfied user of the new set :thumbup :

When booting my 7pe, I use a different background image, but before it displays, I briefly see a different background and I haven't been able to find where this resource is located so I can change it to match my background. The image I am seeing is below. On a normal Win7 system it is located in oobe as background.bmp, but in the Make_PE3 image, this dir is not present. Anyone know how this can be changed?

Probably the image is related to setup.bmp found in X:\Windows\system32

Try to modify by adding your setup.bmp to folder PE3_mod\PE3_add\x86\Windows\System32

Thanks, I see the setup.bmp and missed viewing that one on X:. I originally looked in the \PE3_mod and did not find an image that matches the setup.bmp. I still don't know how this file ends up in x.\windows\system32

Do you happen to know?
