2003 file missing error

It could be many things:

- the registry file system might be corrupt: to check if it is, copy windows\system32\config\system to a working computer or boot the computer not working with winPE then load the hive with regedit. Then check it visually it should look like your hkey_local_machine\system. If it isn't looking well, you'll need to restore it.

- the NTFS partition might have error: to fix it, do a chkdsk with the recovery console with a windows 2003 installation CD.

- the file or the path might have been hidden or moved: check if it is still there.
