frogman
Apologies if this is in the wrong section, but I had heard that Windows Vista doesn't work that well for converting personal mp3 to wave or flac, is this the case?I am asking because I will be getting a new computer soon, and as I do converting some of the time I would like to know if that is possible within Vista? This of course is for my personal use only. CoffeeFiend
Apologies if this is in the wrong section, but I had heard that Windows Vista doesn't work that well for converting personal mp3 to wave or flac, is this the case? Why wouldn't it work well? I've done lots of conversion using XP, Vista and Win 7 and all work just fine. Not that I see any point converting an mp3 to such a large format (trying to preserve quality that isn't there in the first place?), it would just waste disk space. frogman
Yeah I agree. What I was really asking was if those later systems dealt with ripping CD's to Flac etc.I would never convert mp3 to flac, no point as you say.
