3mb read speeds, 70mb write speeds

I had 2 500GB WD hard drives in my system. I replaced a WD with a Sammy because the 500GB was getting filled. I cloned a disk to disk copy using norton ghost, which i have done numerous times before. Windows loaded extremely slow. I used my dual boot and did a hard drive speed test. I got 3mb ready and 70mb write, i am not sure which the issue is or if the drive is defective or not but something is wrong.

If you have still the same data on the WD, I would delete the data on the Samsung and partition it again in windows, following with a format, and test the speed again. To me it looks more like a bad copy or a already messed up drive layout from the WD so Ghost can't handle it well.
