Is it possible to copy/replace storage drivers onto Windows

Hey guys, I have a curious question. There are times when I encounter some systems that cant boot because of corrupt storage drivers. Sometimes I wonder if it's possible to copy the storage drivers onto the appropriate windows folder if I am able to boot with a bartpe CD. This way I can quickly replace the storage drivers and get the system up and running in no time.

Thanks,

ceez
