Any Alternative to Norton Ghost

It likely does not exist. See here at the Symantec site, they suggest using the Ghost 2003 boot disk. (or whatever version you used to create the .GHO)

Norton Ghost 2003 and earlier versions of Norton Ghost create backup images in .gho format. Norton Ghost 12.0, Norton Ghost 14.0, and Norton Save & Restore 2.0 do not support .gho format. Norton Ghost 9.0 and later versions create backup images in .v2i format. You cannot restore the .gho image files using these products.
