Making a session optimized for the use of one particular software ?

I'm working on a live, and I'm going to play it using my laptop, but since it's not very powerful, I would like to make it run as few services and programs as possible, and possibly even make a session that would directly open Ableton Live without all the explorer.exe stuff, but keeping a regular session with all the usual stuff. Is that possible ?
