adrian2055 Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I think I asked this question here before, but I can't seem to find my thread (hmm....) so I'll ask it again. I'm wondering if there's a way to disable the preview window on the taskbar through a registry link or with an external program and keep the aero glass theme on.This is the window I want to disable:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows...windows-taskbar
sam13 Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 I haven't found a way to fully disable them, but you can delay them almost indefinetly. Put the following into a file, name it hover.REG and double click on it. It should use that value latest on the next login. I personally set this value to 10 seconds.Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]; extend thumbbail preview in milli seconds"ExtendedUIHoverTime"=dword:FFFFFFFF
