cannot read internal hdd at firststage

Recommended Posts

i have tried a lot for 2 weeks, kindly tell what to do ,

i have 10 times made bootable usb, it even clears first stage but later shows hal.dll error. As given in many repliesand faq , i tried to give it rdisk0 , rdisk 1 , parition many options i tried but still same problem.

Moreover at first stage, it do not read my laptop internal hdd, like c:drive which is formatted completely and other drive.

so i do not know how it passed first stage , it should read the internal hdd ,only usb hdd is read,

please reply where in which file to make change , not only in boot.ini so that in first stage, it reads internal HDD

thanks in advance

How did you pass Text mode if the internal disk is not shown? What disk did you select to install on?

If the internal disk is not shown either change in BIOS to IDE emulation or integrate the appropriate SATA driver in your source.
