how to install silent appelications via WPI

Recommended Posts

Since they are silent you simply browse to the install.exe in the config wizard and WPI will add in the needed path...

WPI will run them just like regular. The only thing different is that you don't add any switches.

thanks for great help

but i have more two quisetions

1-if i put ( /S) as a switch for these silent installers, is there any problem ?

2- how can i edit winnt.sif to make wpi run after the first login ? (i put WPI folder in the root of my cd beside I386 folder )

thanks in advance

i have another way and i think it's easier. put the WPI folder in $OEM$\$1\WPI

and write this at the end of ur winnt.sif

[GuiRunonce]
"%systemdrive%\WPI\wpi.hta"

and i still don't know the answer of the ur first question : )
