Great :thumbup

As for IE8-WindowsXP-KB2647516-x86-KOR.exe, this is my full log:

-----------------------------------------------------------
Running HFSLIPFC v.2011/11/16 at N 2012-02-19 14:04:32,81
-----------------------------------------------------------
not found (O): HFGUIRUNONCE\messenger.msi (Windows Messenger 5.1)
not found (O): HF\Windows-KB909520-v1.000-x86-KOR.exe (Base Smartcard-Cryptography Service Provider Package)
not found (H): HFSVCPACK_SW1\windowsxp-kb976002-v5-x86-enu.exe (Browser-choice for EU-countries)
not found (O): HF\WindowsXP-KB905474-KOR-x86.exe (Windows Genuine Advantage Notifications)
not found (O): HF\WindowsXP-KB2647516-x86-KOR.exe (Empty dialog when opening 'Organize Favorites' from Windows Explorer)
Found MS09-053: FTP Service for Internet Information Services (HF\WindowsXP-KB975254-x86-KOR.EXE): For KB975254 you need HFSLIP 1.7.10 beta D or newer
Found Security Advisory 2269637: Library Loading (HF\WindowsXP-KB2264107-x86-KOR.exe): Read KB2264107 how to set the new registry key CWDIllegalInDllSearch to change the behavior of loading DLLs.
Found Remove the CWD from the DLL search order (HFSVCPACK\WindowsXP-KB2264107-x86.reg): Highest protection against "DLL Hijacking" but can cause problems with some apps. Read KB2264107.
Found User Profile Hive Cleanup Service 1.6g (HFSVCPACK_SW1\UPHClean-Setup.msi): Ensure that this is really v1.6g
Found High Definition Audio class driver 1.0a (HF\kb888111xpsp2.exe): Ensure that the language is correct.
Found Windows Media Player 11 (HF\wmp11-windowsxp-x86-KO-KR.exe): When getting problems during text-mode copy-phase, extract the WMP11-installer manually to HF/WMP11

I've got IE8-WindowsXP-KB2647516... in HF. Should I include both?

By the way, Mim0, why does 'SmartCard_XP_x86.exe' have to be renamed to 'WindowsXP-KB952013-x86-XXX.exe'? Is there any particular reason for this?

IIRC, renaming this update allows HFSLIP for some reason to slipstream it from HF folder instead of HFSVCPACK_SW1.

Are you sure it's necessary? HFSLIP will slipstream any update even if you name it abcd.exe unless its structure is non-standard.

I read about it here, but I don't know if the current version of HFSLIP handles it without the need for renaming it. Somebody should test that.

@mim0 I've included Q282784_WXP_SP1_x86_ENU.exe in HF folder. it's qfecheck.exe. but file checker says it's unknown. could you add this to list?

Probably you could do it as I do it for additional updates which are not on the list:

I modified my file-checker INI in the following way:

Open it and go to the WIN-section, and add additional update(s):

...
-------------------------------------------------
! Additional updates for Windows XP SP3
-------------------------------------------------
+WIN
S|HF\Q282784_WXP_SP1_x86_ENU.exe|Qfecheck.exe
-
...

both? do you mean HF\WindowsXP-KB2647516-x86-KOR.exe and HF\IE8-WindowsXP-KB2647516-x86-KOR.exe? Yes, you should! :)

Thank you :) but if both non IE8 and IE8 versions are needed then why is it:

Your example is taken from table 2 (security updates). But if you're using IE8 (together with IE8-WindowsXP-KB2647516-x86-XXX.exe), then WindowsXP-KB2647516-x86-XXX.exe is not a security-update but more a fix for the favorites-bug.

But if you go to Table 4 (non-sec updates for IE), you will find WindowsXP-KB2647516-x86-XXX.exe for IE8.

Probably it's not the most intuitive solution...
