Mim0
Hi.Found some kind of mistake...not found (A): HFSVCPACK\WindowsXP-KB968389-x86.reg (Security Advisory 973811: Enable Extended Protection for Authentication)...missing HFSVCPACK\WindowsXP-KB968389-x86.reg...Hi TeddyBeers, yes, that's not very nice, but the reason is:the check for missing updates in general (depending on you options) are doing the first outputthen, when using KB970430 and/or KB971737 I check if KB968389 (and it's reg-file) are existing --> the second output!these checks/outputs are at this moment independend. I could combine them. I'll think about that...thx,Mimo

Mim0
New file-checker extension for XP2010-08-31- Added: WindowsXP-KB2264107-x86.reg (remove the CWD from the DLL search order)The optional WindowsXP-KB2264107-x86.reg removes the CWD from the default DLL search order (highest protection against "DLL Hijacking" but can cause problems with some apps. Read KB2264107). Because possible problems it’s optional.

Lilla
Mimo, Suggestion: Add filever.exe to "Table 6: Files used by HFSLIP"Reason: I deleted my SOURCE folder, intending to reload it after updating my source files using hfslipfc.exe When I ran hfslipfc.exe I got this error message:Cannot check version of Windows Media Player 11(HFTOOLS\filever.exe is not available)file:\HF\wmp11-windowsxp-x86-ENU.exeexpected version: 11.0.5721.5262To correct the above I loaded the SOURCE folderthen extract filever.exe from \SOURCE\SUPPORT\TOOLS\SUPPORT.CABI then renamed the source folder so I could tell if hfslipfc.exe was using filever.exe in HFTOOLSWhen I ran hfslipfc.exe again it used the copy of filever.exe in HFTOOLS - so it worked as expected!Lilla Edited September 11, 2010 by Lilla

Mim0
hfslipfc-xp.iniHIGH-PRIORITY=OPTIONAL=1HOTFIXES=Found non-existing update(s) for Windows XP SP3----------------------------------------------------not found (H): HF\WindowsXP-KB973687-x86-ENU.exe (Update for Windows XP (MSXML 3 & MSXML 6))missing (S): HF\WindowsXP-KB954459-x86-ENU.EXE (MS08-069: XML Core Services (MSX ML6))Hi Lilla, now I checked the MSXML-Updates. The list (website) is OK but inside of the file-cheker there is something missing. But first, I have a question:not found (H): HF\WindowsXP-KB973687-x86-ENU.exe (Update for Windows XP (MSXML 3 & MSXML 6))should only be reported if a) High-Priority-Updates and B) KB973686 is NOT inside of HFa is given because of your INIb is NOT given because KB973686 is not listed as missing (means it is inside of HF)--> So why comes this message? I don't understand ... missing (S): HF\WindowsXP-KB954459-x86-ENU.EXE (MS08-069: XML Core Services (MSX ML6))This is the missing point inside of the file-checker:KB954459 can be overriden by two updates: either by KB973687 or by KB973686.So far it's possible to check one update against one other.--> Todo: Check one update against two others!Thx for your hints!
