panolis
I mean the hibernation error message you get.You can also try to use the WPT 4.8:http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=8279maybe this version works.Win tries to go to hibernation, switches erverything off and restarts immediately and I get a message screen if I had powered off the system by PSU. Win reports: The system was shutdown unexpectedly (Eventlog 6008). The system rebooted without shutdown (Kernel_Power 41). Both messages translated from german. And I have used the WPD 4.8.x from the SDK 7.1.

Maybe it was an update which caused it. Do you have a system restore point before August 12th?
