And a startup of 1 minute is quite good, I guess. Thanks again for helping me out here!

You can zip and upload the new trace and I take a short look at it.

The Windows Search service causes some longer durations:

try to disable the Search service and try again.

Hi, maybe someone can help me with the following 2 problems:

1. a boot delay of about 2 minutes (not really a problem)

2. wake up from hibernation fails (windows was stopped unexpectedly - sorry I dont have the correct translation, I have a german Win 7)

No problems after system installation, the above mentioned occured 4 weeks later.

I have downloaded and installed the Windows Performance Tools and did a trace with this parameters: xbootmgr.exe" -trace boot -traceFlags BASE+CSWITCH+DRIVERS+POWER -resultPath C:\_boot)

The xbootmgr.log reports 2 errors:

I have no idea how to fix this. :(

My system (Win 7 SP1 (Enterprise):

Asrock z68 Extreme 4 (no overclocking!)

Intel i7 2600K

16 Gig Muskin DDR3 1333

Be quiet BQT P9 PRO 850W PSU

3ware Sata RAID Controller 9650SE (8 ports)

4 x SSD RAID 10 (System)

4 x HDD RAID 5 (Data)

Any help is welcome!

and try again.

Also post the error message. I'm German so I can read the message ;)

I have installed all 3 hotfixes. The boot delay is gone (probably with the 1st installed one)

xbootmgr still gives the following errors:

use a path withput _ and try again.

If it still fails, run Process Monitor from Sysinternals, enable boot logging in ProcMon and reboot. After the boot is finished, run ProcMon again and save the trace as PML file. Compress it to 7z (ULTRA, LZMA2) and upload it.

Renaming the log file path to c:\log resulted in the same error messages.

I ran the ProcMon and uploaded the trace to my Dropbox. I will send you the password as pm.

I start the VMWare services with a batch file when I need them and set the to start on demand.

No, I never used this internal burning tool. Only Nero 9, and there was one saved image (just copied to Blue Ray by now).

compressed or something like this? Does chkdsk detect any errors? What are the ACL settings for the folder? have you modified them?

Correction: there are 2 directories with 2 files inside: directory "Temporärer Ordner für zu brennende Dateien" and the file "desktop.ini". Explorer was set to not display hidden files. :whistle:

- no compression, no archive, no index and no encryprion attributes

- chkdsk reports no errors

- admin group, system and user have full access (all rights inherited), no special rights

- I did no modifications
