Ran Vlite - Iso Doesn't Work

So i ran vlite on my windows 7 iso files. it runs flawlessly even though it doesn't officially support it (but everyone and their mom knows it does).

When vlite is done running i get the below files:

boot (folder)

efi (folder)

sources (folder)

autounattend

bootmgr

last session

last session_u

doesn't it need the autorun and setup files?

I copied and pasted them into the folder, made it into an iso (just for safe keeping) and copy and pasted onto a flash drive to install on my netbook. The install gets like 97% done and gives me an error of .dll not found. I searched the original iso for the missing dll and i guess its embedded into a different file.

Is there something I am missing to not have the setup and auto run generated or does this really need to be copied and pasted?

Not necessarily, I have also removed the setup.exe but in this case the DVD would only be bootable. Means you can install the OS only in bootable mode.

And the dll file you were talking about is in install.wim file, which is in source folder. But you would require WAIK and gimagex to see those dll files.

You need to mount the install.wim file and then you can see those dll file in the windows/system32 folder. Alternatively you can download the dll file form the net or take that dll file from your current os. You would find the dll files in C:\Windows\System32.
