seeker15
Thanks steven. Much appreciated for the reply. So, I am not integrating .NET and any other non-integrate updates/apps in the iso to avoid a failed installation (your option 3 suits better for us ). I shall get on with your instruction and see how it goes at my end.

vseven
I was thinking of using RT seven lite to integrate these into W7 SP1 iso. I used RT seven lite and not only did I have a ton of issues with it there were left over EXE's that it ran on every startup that I still don't understand why they were there. Here is my real quick guide on making your own ISO (which I burn to a USB stick using Microsofts "Windows 7 USB DVD Download" tool) Setup1. Install Microsoft Windows AIK + updates2. Copy the contents of a Win7 SP1 DVD in a directory (I use c:\Win7SP1x64)3. Create a blank directory for the mount (I use c:\Win7SP1x64Mount)4. Copy WinPE drivers to a directory (I use c:\Win7x64-PE)5. Copy regular device drivers to a directory (I use c:\Win7x64-Drivers)6. Copy updates to a directory (I use c:\Win7x64-Updates)7. Open up the Deployment Tools command prompt as a administrator8. Navigate to c:\ 9. Mount the boot image (index 1 is PE): dism /mount-wim /wimfile:c:\Win7SP1x64\sources\boot.wim /index:1 /mountdir:c:\Win7SP1x64Mount10. Add PE drivers: dism /image:c:\Win7SP1x64Mount /add-driver /driver:c:\Win7x64-PE /recurse11. Unmount image and commit changes: dism /unmount-wim /mountdir:c:\Win7SP1x64Mount /commit 12. Mount the install image (index 3 is pro): dism /mount-wim /wimfile:c:\Win7SP1x64\sources\install.wim /index:3 /mountdir:c:\Win7SP1x64Mount13. Add drivers: dism /image:c:\Win7SP1x64Mount /add-driver /driver:c:\Win7x64-Drivers /recurse14. Add updates: dism /image:c:\Win7SP1x64Mount /add-package /packagepath:c:\Win7x64-Updates15. Unmount image and commit changes: dism /unmount-wim /mountdir:c:\Win7SP1x64Mount /commit16. Create bootable ISO: oscdimg -bC:\Win7SP1x64\boot\etfsboot.com -u2 -h -m -lWin7SP1x64 c:\Win7SP1x64 c:\Win7SP1x64.iso Hopefully this comes in handy for someone. -Allan Edited June 3, 2014 by vseven
Tomorrow
Hmm. Seems RT7L is very much stuck in peoples mind. Unfortunately it's completely abandoned and unsupported. Using it will cause many issues. Use WTK instead: http://www.wincert.net/forum/files/file/5-win-toolkit/

seahorse
Thanks for the quick reply.I am using your updates to slipstream via MDT and have just tested an installation minus the IE11 exe.I thought I saw a cab version of IE11 before but must have been mistaken so will use MDT to install IE11 amongst other non integratables post integrate unless I'm mistaken. If anyone has any experience doing this with MDT then I'd appreciate any suggestions or experience. All went well with the exception of Windows attempting to logon to the local Admin Account after every reboot.I'm not sure whether one of the updates has caused this or a corrupt file but I'll look into it. As of today the following additional KB files needed to installed post integrated Windows install. Security (Important)KB2706045KB2861855KB2862152KB2909210KB2912390KB2965788 - (Failed to install first time, possibly one off)KB2791765KB2904266 Non-Security (optional)KB2574819KB2592687KB2830477KB971033KB2923545 As always, appreciate your hard work. steven4554
There is a cab version of IE11, and you'll find the latest version (11.0.9) on both IE11 thread and the Win7 lists, which you'll find in the optional section.
mephistopoa
Hi there, I was using your list on a Standard Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1, integrating everything from your list made the installation fail, but reading some stuff here on the forum I saw someone recommending to remove 3 KBs to avoid this problem, in case KB2603229, KB2533552 and KB2506143. I removed KB2603229, KB2533552 and the installation worked well. Did you experience this problem as well? Would it not be better to remove these updates from your list to avoid people having the same issue? Also, if you don't mind I would like to contribute to this list as it was very useful for me so I would like to assist and help other people with it. Thanks! steven4554
The updates that cannot be integrated into a offline image, are clearly marked as Non-Integrate in the latest ULZ's for both 7 and 8.1 Update! You can also help me with the lists by pointing out any mistakes or updates that I may have missed, and also give feedback to possibly help improve the lists, but that's all. Hi Steven, I didn't notice that before, had to move right a bit, thanks for the heads up! Much appreciated! Sure, as I'm always building machines and installing Windows 7 x64 on them I can assit you often with what is working or not and update you with new KBs that are missing. Soon I'll start doing the same for Windows 8.1 x64, and perhaps also for Office 2013. So far What I've found missing (because perhaps they are quite new updates) are the following on Windows 7 x64 Professional OEM Security Updates * 2929437* 2861855* 2862152* 2791765* 2904266* 971033 Optional updates * 2574819* 2592687* 2830477 I've integrated Security essentials, .Net 4.5.2 and silverlight just fine with these commands using WinToolKit (which is a pretty good tool, using the silent install option) Silverlight-x64 /qNDP452-KB2901907-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU /q /norestartMSEInstall_x64_en_us /s /runwgacheck /o All worked like a charm, after installation, just 10 important and 4 optional updates available. Thank you! Edited June 19, 2014 by mephistopoa
steven4554
Thanks for the list of updates, here's what missing or been superseded:- Security KB2957689 replaces KB2929437KB2861855 is missing because I don't include updates or features for Remote Desktop!KB2862152 is missing because I don't include updates for DirectAccess!KB2820331 replaces KB2791765KB2922717 replaces KB2904266KB971033 is missing because users did not want validation updates in the lists. Non-Security KB2574819 is missing because I don't include updates or features for Remote Desktop!KB2592687 and KB2830477 same reason as KB2574819.
