steven4554 Posted April 25, 2013 Author Posted April 25, 2013 What i do with my lists, is remove the hash if the update is only available from the catalog and not from the download center.I understand now, you use the tag:<filename>( Local Filename )</filename>I will try to make a French UL for 7sp1 (x64 and x86)Edit: I have opened your x64 UL and I have found 4 unneeded security updates:KB2525694KB2503658KB2476490KB2524375You can if you wish, but i must remind you that the updates in my lists for Win7 will work on any language version including french, cause they language neutral. But i guess you could add other stuff like i have in my lists that will only work on French systems.
mooms Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Yes, I know they are language neutral.MS don't like that others shares their updates, and as I maintain "update packs" for 7sp1, I'm thinking of offering them in "ul" form, so MS will be happy....
albator Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Thank a lot for your list !I think you need to update it with KB2775511, it replace a lot of KB.
steven4554 Posted April 27, 2013 Author Posted April 27, 2013 Thank a lot for your list !I think you need to update it with KB2775511, it replace a lot of KB.KB2775511 is already in both Win7 update lists, you'll find the update in the Non-Security Updates section.
JonnyT1978 Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Great effort as always to keep this updated.I'm getting KB2791765 offered by Windows Update for W7 SP1 64-bit after install. It appears to be in the 32-bit UL but not the 64-bit one...Also, I wish M$ would get their stuff together and make v4 of KB2647753 available from the KB web page and not just the update catalog

As for KB2647753-v4, i have changed my lists to that version which will in the next available lists, download directly from the update catalog site.I should point out, that even though MS has made a v4, the files inside are the same as v2.Yeah, i agree, MS is making alot of mistakes lately, and like you i'd wish they would release a second service pack for Win7, cause we need one, with the amount of post-sp1 updates now reaching past 500! Edited May 20, 2013 by steven4554
mooms Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 the amount of post-sp1 updates now reaching past 500!Fortunately, most are superseded or unneeded for the average Joe.
