takim Posted November 17, 2009 Share Posted November 17, 2009 My company has 2 in-house applications which are standard installs on all computers. I recently took these installs and created my own install packages because their base install was out of date with the current version and then converted them into NLite AddOns. When testing these installs there were no issues and no prompts of any kind. When adding these to my XP install and running it I will get prompts saying the computer needs to be restarted with ok/cancel and the setup stalls until one of those is selected. The only problem this really creates for me is I cannot have an unattended install. Any ideas on how I can fix this? The AddOn uses the /s switch for silent install. The base install is created with SMS Installer and I used a tutorial from another site to create the switchless installer to be used in Nlite.
