snikkies
Hey Folks, finally broke down and replaced my dinosaur dell laptop. My hp pavilion dv6 came with Windows 7. I was told that running office XP should be no problem. However, powerpoint is not working..in fact, it seems to not even have installed (and yes, I have tried reinstalling several times). Powerpoint viewer installed but refuses to run, giving me an error message saying msvcr80.dll is missing (it's not on my installation disk from microsoft) So...anyone else having issues getting any officeXP stuff to run on windows 7? Any idea how I can once again have powerpoint (without having to buy a newer version)? Thanks!
LordFett
I have office XP with powerpoint installed on Win7 x64. Had it installed on 32bit and 64bit RC as well. I haven't used powerpoint yet (hardly ever use it), but i use word and excel lots and have had no problems with them.
