morocco31477 Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 I just bought a 21.5" Acer H213H monitor. I purposely never installed a video card in my latest build because I did not want to hear the noisy fan, plus I really didn't need one anyway (I do emulation not PC gaming). So, my onboard video has ATI Radeon HD 3200. Problem is I'm running 1680x1050 resolution @ 60 hertz. Not looking very good, I need it to be able to go back to 75. So, I am going to buy a fanless video card. Question is will a MSI R4550-MD1GH Radeon HD 4550 1GB 64-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 LINK do the job? I need to be sure that it will run that resolution at 75 hertz.
bonestonne Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Yes, that card will work just fine. pretty good price as well.I'm a little surprised onboard couldn't push the 75hz...
