Hello!

Yes you can.

Imagex.exe and Dism.exe are include with WAIK for Windows 7! Just install WAIK.

I've tried successfully to use 7Customizer_0.4.4 on a PC working with Windows XP SP3. All is fine.

Good luck!

While integrating updates using 7Customizer_0.4.4, I am geting an error as shown in the fig.

Pl. help me to rectify the error.

Well.. We need more information..

Perhaps you missed to read the first page where it says you should post the 7C logfile to help when this happens.

Post it and also tell us exactly what you did.

I enclosed the log file pl.

Hello!

It's seems that there is an error with the path, you need to choose the correct path for your Windows 7 x86, inside the first window's 7Customizer:

I see inside your Dism.log (7C log.txt):

DISM.EXE: Executing command line: "C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\Servicing\Dism.exe" /unmount-wim /mountdir:"work\mount" /commit

With correct path for x86:

C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\x86\Servicing\Dism.exe

And you need to use 7Customizer as Administrator.

Visual English guide

4. Start 7Customizer.exe. If prompted by UAC just choose allow.

Im sure it can beacuse its just a bunch of inf files in that package.

But there are no real packages for 7, just for vista.

They say the same vista package works for Win7 viewtopic.php?id=4748

Regards

If you want you can also find more help for specifics drivers for Windows Vista / 7 DriverPacks (x86 - x64) and workarounds here: http://forum.driverpacks.net/

And a good layout about DISM:

TNX myselfidem.

I visited that good layout about DISM since yesterday. As far i understood I have to install the DriverPacks manually.

My question is: Can I install these DriverPacks with 7Customizer?

If so, Do I have to extract the archives to get the .cat and .inf files?

If no, Is there any automatic installer tool?

Furthermore, I have no file bootorder.txt as well as bootmemtest.efi in my Win7 DVD.

If I cretae a bootorder.txt (without bootmemtest.efi file) in what Win7 folder i have to save it?

Regards

At this time there isn't an automatic installer tool for injecting the drivers for Vista or Windows 7. I think that the new sofwares use DISM (incude with WAIK for Windows 7) , like WimIntegrator (but this one don't work with Windows XP); 7Customizer; RT Se7en Lite; Se7en_UA...

Yes it's needed to extract the archives and for the DriverPacks you can see some methods here:

Windows 7 Discussion

You can also use 7-Zip

Windows 7 DISM & driver packages

The file "bootorder.txt" is integrated with 7Customizer. You can find it inside the folder:

%systemdrive%\7Customizer_0.4.4\work\bootorder.txt.

It's useful for a DVD who need more 4.0 Gb space (for prevent errors at the first boot)!

Inside this one (bootorder.txt) no "bootmemtest.efi" or "memtest.efi" are mentionned, and with my own Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bits copy I haven't this file...And all is fine for me!

But I can see the file "memtest.efi" inside Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bits, inside the folder "boot" of the DVD.

*Edit:

You can find more info about "memtest.efi" and EFI-Based Computer here:

I hope that will help you!
