7Customizer - a Windows 7 Customization and Deployment tool

Recommended Posts

Is 7 customizer supposed to work with off the shelf retail versions of Windows 7?

had a RTM build before that customized fine, However I now I have a retail edition which when Creating an ISO in Debug Mode throws up error: 0xc1510111 with the following message:

You do not have permissions to mount and modify this image.

Verify that you have Read/Write permissions or mount the image using the read only option. Note that you cannot commit changes to an image with read only permissions.

Anyone know how to fix this error?

Ta

Hello! :rolleyes:

Yes, I've sometimes the same problem!

You can successfully try to mountrw your image inside another partion (D:\; H:\; ...)

Regards.

Yes it is, all he has to do is to change the path from Work\mount\users\babla to \windows\resources\themes instead.

No comment!

Done that but has not fixed this issue, it must be something else causing this error code

@netwave

Are you Administrator on your Computer?

Yep! Ile figure it out sooner or later as I never give up ;)

I think the error is that you are using the Debug mode.

You don't need to use it! :rolleyes:

You can read the visual guide:

http://www.msfn.org/board/visual-guide-7customizer-t140068.html

Extract:

(Optional) Debug mode is used to pause the execution of the instructions when you apply your changes. This is used to solve problems.

So leave it unchecked.

@grabben

It wasn't a question! It's an suggestion for Blue. :wacko:

Hm i thougt it was both :P

I think it'd be "nice" (sometimes such a lame word:P) if he did that, altho i dunno how themepack works, i guess they extract to resources\themepack name folder..

Debug in "unchecked" mode still wont create my ISO, infact for a split second I still get to see the same error flash up before the whole execution fails

I have used Debug mode before to iron out issues before compiling the final ISO

Debug mode is not an issue IMHO

(edit update)

Getting this error from the DISM log:

M DISM Provider Store: PID=460 Failed to get and initialize the PE Provider. Continuing by assuming that it is not a WinPE image. - CDISMProviderStore::Final_OnConnect

Hi blue,

here are the german languages for 7customizer: Download Deutsch.lng

I hope you can install the Deutsch.lng directly ti 7customizer.

The Win-Lite.de Forum will be updated the languages, when a new version appears.

Also we have the same problems like grabben HERE.

Not enough room for the german text in the lines and also on the Buttons.

Here are the Screens:

@Blue

In fact I see that the first command line inside "theme.bat" is only needed one time, like this:

mkdir "work\mount\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes"

move /y "work\themes\CustomTheme0" "work\mount\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes"

move /y "work\themes\CustomTheme1" "work\mount\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes"

move /y "work\themes\CustomTheme2" "work\mount\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes"

Thanks
