hclarkjr
i too would like to see further development of this but am not going to pressure him to do it. i think that is what drove nuhi away. hopefully he will come back and continue this. if not, it still is useful for some things as is. Why not give him a break. Maybe he has something under the hood, you will never know. I know one thing for sure, he said that he would do it opensource when the app was done.It does not help us when you wreck hes neck everytime you write here, atleast not for us, but mayb your tool will get more downloads because of the flames? maxXPsoft
why are you on hes neck everytime you post in hes thread?. Last time you complaint about hes config storing in the appdata.. No, I asked him if he could store it there, I do a lot of reinstalls and when I try to check his thing out again I have to start all over selecting them things. Not that hard to store paths for any programmerEdit: What I'm saying is could you save the paths in the preset like very top so people could open and edit? And that was before his last post back on the 12th and he hasn't posted here since, but I am saying I seen him in and out of here many times since, DUH!!Give a s*** less whether anyone uses my app, its made as an instruction tool for the beginners will create all the files like was needed to show you how things are created and doneI been waiting on him to start the removals so I can remove some stuff from my dvd to fit extra apps and see if his stuff works with mine. If he not going to do this I'll be forced i guess into removing stuff myself. What drove Nuhi away was probably thanks for your app but remove this. It has also become a nightmare on Windows 7 and i know

It has also become a nightmare on Windows 7 and i knowThere's nothing wrong with 7Customizer, its only a testversion and im pretty sure Blue is busy with other things, we cant expect him to work with 7C all the time ofcourse. He will update 7c when he can and wants to.Creating a tool that can remove software/packages from a windows 7 dvd will take time to get it properly working, and he wants to create more bugfree working tool before starting with the removal parts..Accept and respect that, otherwise you dont have to come back here:)

myselfidem
@AdaduYou can try to delete your source: "seven" and copy a new time. Also, see in the folder "7Customizer_0.4.0a\work" and deleete all the olds folders and keep only the files needeed:mount; bootorder.txt; etfsboot.com; EXTRACT.EXEName your iso file with the same name of your source: seven.iso! And make the iso file on the same HDD you have your source Windows.I've tried the two methods succesfully. This example: Windows source and iso file on the same partion C:\ log.txt=== 7Customizer Started===7Customizer verion: 0.4.0a7Customizer path: D:\7Customizer_0.4.0a\7Customizer.exeCurrent directory: D:\7Customizer_0.4.0aOS: Microsoft Windows NT 6.1.7600.0OS architecture: x86Work folder found: TrueMount folder found: TrueExtract utility found: TrueConfiguration file found: Truebootorder.txt file found: TrueBoot sector file found: TrueElevated: TrueGetting drive infoFree space: 20,8081283569336 GBGetting drive info: DoneSaved Imagex path: C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\x86\imagex.exeSaved DISM path: C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\x86\Servicing\Dism.exeSaved odcdimg path: C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\x86\oscdimg.exeWindows source path selectedSources folder foundinstall.wim foundinstall.wim size: 2042 MBAdded: "C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\x86\imagex.exe">work\testimagex.txtTesting imagexImagex result begin:Imagex result file created.ImageX Tool for WindowsCopyright (C) Microsoft Corp. Adadu
First of all, thank you for your sugestions. Secondly, it doesn't work. Maybe because I am using one of my own customised windows7? As you see at my print, it's a modifyed (slimmed) version.I will try to install on my laptop a clean, untouch win7 and give it a try... again. myselfidem
@AdaduThanks, I appreciate.Yes, you need a clean Windows source (original DVD), unmodified! You can read the guide here:http://www.msfn.org/...-for-windows-7/Extract:4. Important notes for using 7Customizer:6. It is highly recommended to use 7Customizer on an unmodified (clean, untouched .. etc) windows installation source. Regards. Adadu
6. It is highly recommended to use 7Customizer on an unmodified (clean, untouched .. etc) windows installation source. My source is an unmodifyed win7. But my actually OS, the one that I am use now on my comp it's modifyed. Do you think this is a problem?L.E. I just figured out... it says very clear.... "use 7Customizer on an unmodified (clean, untouched .. etc)" Silly me... Edited March 5, 2010 by Adadu
