vampyrus
What I would like to do is create a standalone WPI disk for use with multiple systems. The situation is this: I want a WPI disk that will allow for multiple pc's. To explain further: I have 5 PC's that I use - all with diff programs installed and diff configurations. I want to know if I can create a WPI standalone disk that will allow me to select from multiple WPI installs that have customised scripts for each diff install. EG: Clicking on WPI 1.exe will allow me to install all the programs on PC1 that it requires. Clicking WPI 2 will do this for PC2. Etc etc. Can this be done ? and can it be done while still having only one instance of the scripts and installs folders ?
Dumpy Dooby
Why have multiple copies of it? When I last used WPI it had the ability to create various preset configurations. So on the left there was an option to install "all," or "administrative tools" or "utilities" or "design software" or "frameworks" so on and so forth. You could do the same thing except make the options "PC1" and "PC2" etc.I don't know if that feature still exists, but I'd assume it does.
vampyrus
Thanks !! I'll have a look into the preset config options. I didn't know you could do that and if you can then it will suit my purposes perfectly.
