Mijzelf
Calm down, everybody, take long breaths, and then read again ERPMan's Homepage: http://erpman1.tripod.com/It's pretty clear that our good erpdude8 will just transfer the 9x/ME and NT 4.0 pages from the "Current Pages" section to the newly created "Archived Pages" section and stop updating them. He will *not* take them down. <panicmode>On the page itself he says: "NOTE: This page will be discontinued on Dec. 25, 2009 and will be removed in late March 2010." dencorso
I stand corrected. So, I guess the idea of creating a mirror is timely. IMHO, the mirror ought to preserve the final version of those pages in their originalform, no matter whatever other content may also exist on the mirror-hosting site. Don't panic, however, there are still some months to set it up properly.*And* don't forget to ask for erpdude8's permission before setting up such a mirror.I'll PM him to call his attention upon this thread right now. DosMan2.0
One important word of advice: never use FrontPage to make a website.Yes I see its not working the way I thought it would in frontpage. Once I got it on the web I found it added an extra http:// to every link on every page, but hopefully I will get it up and running soon.
submix8c
One important word of advice: never use FrontPage to make a website.Yes I see its not working the way I thought it wood in frontpage. Once I got it on the web I found it added an extra http:// to every link on every page, but hopefully I will get it up and running soon.??? May be wrong here, but I think it happens when the pages are uploaded. If it's created and "run" in the same location, it seems ok... only when "uploaded". Haven't been able to confirm this, but my FrontPage experiments (all I've done so far) seem to be fine if URL points directly to it (I use no-ip_dot_org since I have a dynamic IP) and accessed from anywhere else. FWIW...
