ijwcomp
It is slightly faster, but dtill takes about 5 minutes to get to my desktop. The ScRegSetValueExW call failed for Type with the following error: Access is denied. The following service is taking more than 4 minutes to start and may have stopped responding: ServerContact your system administrator or service vendor for approximate startup times for this service. If you think this service might be slowing system response or logon time, talk to your system administrator about whether the service should be disabled until the problem is identified. You may have to restart the computer in safe mode before you can disable the service. The Diskeeper service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s).The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Ide\IdePort4. Edited October 17, 2009 by ijwcomp
MagicAndre1981
Could you make new traces and upload them, so that cluberti can look at it? But I can't get the traces (slow internet at home), so I don't know why such a delay happens.Do you use File- and Printer Sharing? If not, disable the service Server and look your PC starts faster. ijwcomp
Ok, I'll make the traces tonight but I'll have to wait till the next week till I can upload it (slow internet atm).Disabled the Server service and most of the services which depend on it. Doesn't seem to be that much faster.
MagicAndre1981
have you tried the RTM version? You can download a 90day Enterprise Trial and install it. Maybe this is an issue with the RC and it is fixed with the RTM bits.
