Sounds like the converter pooped out somewhere with that particular document. Bear in mind that the ODF Converter Integrator is really just a GUI for the ODF Translator CommandLine, so I would make sure that you have the latest version of that in the folder that the Converter Integrator is installed in and try it again. If it still poops out report it to: http://sourceforge.net/projects/odf-converter/supportThe latest version of the commandline tools is available here:http://sourceforge.net/projects/odf-conver...%20CommandLine/You'll have to extract the contents of the file you download in the same folder that the Converter Integrator is installed in. Steven W Posted January 3, 2010 Share Posted January 3, 2010 (edited) Hey all, I got a message from a user of Office 2000, saying he was having trouble opening Office 2007 documents that were converted using the ODF-converter-integrator. I looked at the system requirements for Sun's ODF plugin and the latest version 3.1 says it requires Windows 2000 or above.There is an older version available, 1.2 (don't ask me what happened to 2.x) that says it should work with 98.http://cds.sun.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfini...ndows-en-US.exeI've done some minor testing (dug out that old Office 2000 CD) and it will open my documents created in OpenOffice.org 3.1 (Note I'm using XP). With spreadsheets and presentations you have to load Excel/Powerpoint and choose File -- Import ODF....Sun did not seem to think of template formats, you can change the extension on these to get them to openOTT -- ODTOTS -- ODSOTP -- ODPJust adding this in case anyone is interested.
