cmonkedo
was wondering if it is possible to cab compress silent installers and integrate them into win source using svcpack method. Also would this save any space on my install disc?I know how to do this with nlite, I need to do this via Start=>Run or Command Prompt.
Martin H
I don't fully understand what you're refering to...However, if you want to integrate apps into your install-source to install at T-13, then you can make 7z or rar silent switchless installers and add them to the svcpack folder and reference them to install at T-13 through svcpack.inf. You cannot cab the installers as they won't run then. The nLite/RVM addons which ussually are cabbed, are uncabbed by nLite during the integration process... Guest
Add-ons are already compressed. Insert them into the hotfix, add-ons and update packs section and they will go in the svcpack folder and run at t-13.
