dmitryam
hello everyone,I've donwloaded one of lite distros for my nebook. But it appeared that it lacks smartcard hardware compatibility.I can't figure what is the best way out of this situation: 1) get a full distro - strip it full of components (except for a smart card) and then perform system restore. It seems easy and fast. 2) make a distro of my own. And i'm kinda lazy for that as it requires a bit of research.I have doubts about the first way. Will stripped system restore missing component without damaging other or not?3) Maybe it is possible to add missing component into the lite version from another distro. However i didn't find an option for thatThank you Edited August 31, 2009 by dmitryam
iamtheky
I've donwloaded one of lite distros for my nebookyou will get eaten alive here for that one Acquiring a legitimate copy through legitimate means and refining it yourself would be a quality solution.
