DreamSkape Posted August 31, 2009 Share Posted August 31, 2009 Hi,As far as I can go back - to the times when I was working on DOS based machines, it should be FAT only and NOT FAT32.MS DOS could support only upto 16 bit so FAT32 fails if you run MS Windows 3 and sometimes Win 95 too. Ponch Posted August 31, 2009 Share Posted August 31, 2009 When people say "DOS", they mainly say "MS-DOS 6.x" which is the last version before Windows tooke over. In which case the answer to your question is FAT 12 and FAT 16 which have limitations to 32MB and 2Gig partitions.If you mean DOS as "DOS 1.0 and other", you have to go back to FAT12 only.
