markclev
Please can someone tell me what I am doing wrong. I am trying to sysprep a Vista Business test machine to learn how to do it in preparation for imaging all of the schools computers. I am using Vlite to create the autounattend.xml file. Here is what I am doing.1.) Created the Windows Vista Installation files from my Volume License CD's2.) On the tasks selection I chose Unattended3.) Put in my Product Key, Check the accept EULA box, type in the Full Name and Org. boxes left the Network location and protect you PC to default, clicked the skip user creation and typed in my password undated the Admin auto-login count to 2. (I checked the Product key several times for accuracy)4.) Rebuild 5.) After it finished I copied the autoattend.xml file to c:\windows\system32\sysprep folder.6.) At the command prompt changed the directory to c:\windows\system32\sysprep and typed in sysprep.exe /oobe /generalize /shutdown /unattend:autounattend.xmlWhen I turned the machine back on it went through the sysprep process. After the machine finishes here are the issues:1.) I have to click that the Network is for Work2.) The product ID has not been entered in and activated.I also on a seperate occasion, added the drivers for the Video card. That worked once but never again.I have attached the unattend.xml file (edited for security of course).Any help would be great, I feel like I am just banging my head against the wall.Autounattend.xml Edited July 23, 2009 by markclev
