When I worked for the state we had the main server room for all the state departments in state of Vermont and man was that loud in there! DigeratiPrime Posted June 30, 2009 Author Share Posted June 30, 2009 The proximity of hard drives in most enclosures has always bothered me, with the disks almost stacked directly on each other the vibration from one has to be affecting the other. However I guess that since the vibration / noise is constant the drives are "used" to it. It looks like when he shouts it is only recorded for the initial imbalance and not the entire duration.
