computerwizkid
You can also use the one from ReactOS too. Also, like XP,it's buggy in 7 and Vista. When I tested it on Vista,it took forever to go into Windows Explorer and I didn't like it.So I switched back. sebastian___
Now that is amazing. If it would be stable it would be great. Awesome idea.
vaska94
Replacing of some DLL files may can help to make it stable :-) it looks awesome :D
helpdesk98
The Programs menu dose not work correctly & the recent programs dose not work. Quick Launch items appear in the right instead of the left. There are no notification Icons. I think if I modify a few values it will work better. Google Chrome has issues with XP's explorer on WIN 7. I just thought it was neat.
zwaldowski
I'd like to see it with Aero on... also, be very careful if you start pulling in XP's DLLs to make this work better. Stay far away from shell32 et. al.
Mr Snrub
It's not just DLL dependencies that could cause issues, but the user profile folder structure and handling of junction points, hard links, etc. is very different - then there may be deprecated APIs due to the absence of "classic mode".(Those who have used roaming profiles from NT4, W2K and Vista days will likely be familiar with the changes to profile structures.)
