superleeds27 Posted May 5, 2009 Share Posted May 5, 2009 I've created a edition of Vista using V-lite, its small and nippy enough to run on a legacy machine, well, 1.9Ghz, and 1GB RAM.Everything works fine except teh Graphics card, its a Geforce FX5700.Can't get it past the 1280 x 1024, when i know it can support 1440 x 900.Any ideas why? Jadestar Posted May 5, 2009 Share Posted May 5, 2009 Best thing I can suggest is to get your exact model number for the monitor and check the specs on it on hp's website and see if it supports that resolution. I am somewhat surprised that it doesnt by default but who knows.How are you changing the resolution?
