dansimrelladvertising
*Sigh*Running Vista 64 ultimate. I really need to view thumbnails of m2t files. Here's what I've done so far:Added the following to my registry Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.mts\ShellEx\{BB2E617C-0920-11D1-9A0B-00C04FC2D6C1}] @="{c5a40261-cd64-4ccf-84cb-c394da41d590}" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.m2t\ShellEx\{BB2E617C-0920-11D1-9A0B-00C04FC2D6C1}] @="{c5a40261-cd64-4ccf-84cb-c394da41d590}" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.m2ts\ShellEx\{BB2E617C-0920-11D1-9A0B-00C04FC2D6C1}] @="{c5a40261-cd64-4ccf-84cb-c394da41d590}"I associated .M2T with WMP.I now get a thumbnail of the WMP logo with any m2t file, but no thumbnail of the actual video like I was hoping (Like with a .mpg or .avi file). Also, if I double-click an m2t file WMP tells me it has no idea what an m2t file is but it will try to play it, which it does.HELP
fizban2
as a work around i know you can change the extensions to .avi or .mpg to allow thumbnail previews for it, what codecs do you have installed? is ffdshow installed?
dansimrelladvertising
Changing extensions every time I offload seems like a big pain in the a** step. I do have ffdshow installed and a buncha other codecs. Do you need a list?
