hitokiri Posted March 30, 2009 Share Posted March 30, 2009 I am using Vlite to try and slipstream the drivers for my hard drive controllers in to Server 2008. I made one copy with Vlite and when I ran it it did not work (hard drives weren't detected). When I inspected the contents of the disk I couldn't find the driver files any where. I tried making another copy and still had no luck. Any idea what the problem might be, or any other ways to get the drivers on the ISO? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Bilar Crais Posted April 2, 2009 Share Posted April 2, 2009 Mostly likely, the drivers in question are "text mode" drivers, and Vlite is unable to integrate these. If the Windows disk does not have native support for your drive, your best bet would be to load them via USB thumb driver when prompted during the install.
