Ashinator
Are you using the /boot argument when capturing your WIM image. Such as the following command. imagex /boot /compress max /capture c:\ c:\WIM_Image.wim "My WIM Image".You can also try using EasyBCD to create the boot image after you have deployed the image manually. http://neosmart.net/
Guimenez
Thanks for replying.i've used the boot option to deploy the image.i've searched the net and i know that the imagex doesn't create the mbr section. i use the gparted to build new primary ntfs partition, and then make the partition bootable. but when a restore the image it doesn't boot if i restore with ghost then restore again with imagex it boot sucessfuly.i don't know what to do, i'm stuckthanks
IcemanND
What commands did you use when partitioning the drive with Diskpart?
Guimenez
i'm using gparted, its more easy to manage partitions. and i restore the image in a lot of computers everyday. the diskpart is out of question
IcemanND
Question remains, what steps did you go through when you partitioned the drive? Do you get an error when you try and boot, what is it?
