MrBefuzzled Posted March 18, 2009 Share Posted March 18, 2009 Hi All,I am having a problem with a game called Gears Of WarRecently just re-formatted my PC (Ran perfect untill now), its Windows Vista service Pack 1.Now i installed it fine, launched the game it ran but then Crashed, tried a few more times, did the same.Changed the compatabilty to Windows XP Service Pack 2 - then i got the Error please insert original DVD!Uninstalled, reinstalled, still the same error!Finally got it to Run and now im back to it crashing after about 20 seconds!I have checked my event viewer and i get the following;Faulting application wargame-g4wlive.exe, version 1.0.3340.131, time stamp 0x47a12f65, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x00000000, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x06920068, process id 0x13d4, application start time 0x01c9a72f832ba25b.Anyone have any ideas? So the game tries to access a file, but that file is locked or in use by another program, and so it crashes.
