PIRATA!
Hi!I have a Fujitsu-Siemens AMILO Pro v3515 laptop and have formatted the Vista Home Premium os preinstalled on it because I wanted to try the Ultimate edition. Now I would like to restore the laptop to the original preinstalled os solution using the hidden partition, but I am not able to acces to the recovery solution anymore because in the F8 boot menu I don't have the recovery entry any more.I decided to try to load the recovery tool from the hidden partition manually, but I really don't know how to do that.is it possible to do this that making the hidden partition ACTIVE and the actual C: Vista partition NOT active??thak you very very muh. Tripredacus
You can do this with DISKPART. Also your recovery partition may have used custom MBR information, so its is possible you won't be able to unhide it very easily.

jaclaz
How are you unhiding it? I guess that you are in a similar situation user Nutter123 was, see here if the same that he did to solve the problem applies to your case:http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=128727jaclaz
